摘要: A 25-year-old male Syrian refugee presented in our hospital with recurrent hip infections after having undergone arthroplasty abroad following destruction of his right joint by shell splinters the civil war. The patient underwent revision implantation a cement spacer. CT-scan rectal contrast media filling revealed recto-acetabular fistula. Consecutively, ileostomy formation. fistula was then successfully closed endoscopic over-the-scope clipping (OTSC®). Fistulas between intestines and joints rarely develop few cases published mostly extensive abdominal rescue surgery has been performed. Here, we present case traumatic that OTSC. This innovative method could represent safe suitable option to effectively close fistulas thereby avoiding bowel resection or permanent ostomy.
