GdAlO3:Eu3+:Bi3+ nanophosphor: Synthesis and enhancement of red emission for WLEDs

摘要: GdAlO3, GdAlO3:Eu3+ and GdAlO3:Eu3+:Bi3+ nanophosphors were synthesised by solution combustion technique. Pure orthorhombic phase was obtained from powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) studies. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs showed the porous, agglomerated irregular shaped particles. The particle size transmission (TEM) measurement in good agreement with values Debye Scherrer's W-H plots. selected area (SAED) pattern show single crystalline nature of sample. Photoluminescence (PL) measurements carried out for phosphors excited at a wavelength 274 nm. characteristic emission peaks Eu3+ ions recorded 590, 614, 655 695 nm corresponding to D-5(0) -> F-7(J) (J = 1, 2, 3, 4) transitions respectively. However, addition Bi3+ GdAlO3:Eu3+, PL intensity drastically enhanced. Orange red color tuned deep phosphor. Therefore, phosphor highly useful as component WLEDs. A well resoled glow peak 225 degrees C GdAlO3 GdAlO3:Eu3+. Further, ions, an additional 300 recorded. TL curves different UV-exposed two 207 simple structure its increases linearly up 25 mm after that it decrease. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
