摘要: Background Perineural spread is not an uncommon feature in carcinoma of the head and neck. On contrary, perineural pelvic malignancies has been rarely reported. This first report on obturator nerve lumbosacral plexus from primary vaginal cancer. Case Description A 50-year-old woman diagnosed with infectious spondylitis at outside hospital was referred to our institution. She presented persistent lower back pain right anterior thigh pain. Magnetic resonance imaging subsequent 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography revealed cancer metastatic lymphadenopathy plexus, including L3, L4 roots branches, along soft tissue masses psoas proximal adductor muscles. Conclusions Clinical diagnosis difficult establish, as it nonspecific symptoms initial manifestation. Clinicians should recognize possibility if radiologic findings, such thickening nerves mass, are observed magnetic imaging. Further evaluation necessary detect possible malignancy differentiate other diseases.
