摘要: Intestinal helminthiases affect millions of people worldwide, mainly in developing regions, where they cause a significant negative impact on human health and socioeconomic growth affected populations. However, intestinal are still among the most neglected tropical diseases. Protective immunity against helminths is associated with development type 2 responses. Nevertheless, some host–intestinal helminth combinations, local Th1 responses initiated, inducing chronicity. The usage helminth–mouse models useful for elucidating mechanisms behind initiation each response. Herein, current knowledge these topics reviewed, paying particular attention to earliest events immune cascade which eventually lead either susceptibility or resistance infection.
