Nondiet Weight-Neutral Curricula Limited in Current Accredited US Dietetic Programs

摘要: Abstract Objective Determine awareness and prevalence of, interest in nondiet weight-neutral (NDWN) focused curriculum factors associated with the presence accredited dietetic programs throughout US. Methods Online cross-sectional survey sent to directors of US Coordinated Programs (n = 60) Didactic Dietetics (n = 214). Results 116 (42%) responded, 95% reported knowledge NDWN approaches weight management like Health at Every Size. Most schools (72%) included their curriculum, mostly a single lecture (53%). respondents (74%) an curriculum. Common for not including were: lack trained knowledgeable staff (35%) insufficient space incorporate additional topics (35%). Conclusions Implications knew curricula but only as 1 lecture. Faculty training flexibility may help support increased incorporation approaches.
