摘要: According to the acousticolateralis hypothesis (Ayers 1892; Kingsbury 1895; van Bergeijk 1967), vertebrate inner ear has its evolutionary origin in lateral line system. The arguments for were based on (1) of lateralis nerves from immediate vicinity eighth nerve ear, (2) general resemblance sensory cells two systems, (3) tendency canal neuromasts and sink below surface during ontogenetic development, (4) development both systems a common epibranchial thickening, or placode.
