摘要: Several candidate mechanosensitive channels have been identified in single and multicellular organisms. In prokaryotes, the well-characterized are gated by force that conveys lateral tension membrane. These channels, while sharing certain transmembrane motifs, molecularly distinct from two families of putative mechanosensory organisms, transient receptor potential (TRP) degenerin/epithelial sodium channel (DEG/ENaC) family genes. DEG/ENaC best characterized fine-touch sensory cells nematodes, but also found to be present cutaneous sensors flies free nerve endings as well specialized vertebrates. TRP associated with mechanosensation nematodes implicated hair cell mechanotransduction. flies, vertebrates numerous intra- extracellular proteins play a seemingly variable role anchoring improve performance. It is proposed ancestral unicellular modified course evolution allow different functions various sensations, including organs.
