摘要: Background: Periodontal disease (PdD) has been shown to be related other systemic diseases. However, assess this relationship, large epidemiologic studies are required. Such need validated self-report measures. The aim of systematic review is the validity self-reported measures in diagnosis PdD.Methods: followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines. Medline, Embase, Google Scholar were searched up January 2016. Two periodontal journals manually. reviewers independently made selected extracted data. All disagreements resolved after discussion with a third reviewer. Risk bias was evaluated. Sensitivity, specificity, diagnostic odds ratio, 95% confidence interval (CI) calculated.
