摘要: Abstract The oxygenation of cancer tissue in humans has been assessed by measuring the intracapillary oxyhemoglobin saturations (i.c.HbO 2 ) solid tumors oral cavity using a cryophotometric micrometbod. From histological investigations can be classified into three qualities vascularization: (i) well vascularized tumors, (ii) with medium quality vascularization, and (iii) poorly tumors. In all tumor types i.c.HbO distribution curves are shifted to significantly lower values than saturation normal mucosa. extent this shift related degree reduction vasculature. addition, great regional inhomogeneities detected. Comparison these results earlier measurements DS-Carcinosarcoma rat reveals that implantation rats considerably as involved study. differences explained growth stage, site growth, influences host on oxygenation.
