摘要: Cardio-oncology is a relatively new discipline that focuses on the cardiovascular sequelae of anti-tumour drugs. As any other young adolescent discipline, cardio-oncology struggles to define its scientific boundaries and identify best standards care for cancer patients or survivors at risk events. The International Colloquium Cardio-Oncology was held in Rome, Italy, 12-14 March 2014, with aim illuminating controversial issues unmet needs modern cardio-oncology. This colloquium embraced contributions from different kind disciplines (oncology cardiology but also paediatrics, geriatrics, genetics, translational research); fact, goes way beyond merging oncology.
