摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the pretreatment hepatoprotective effect extract marine-derived fungus Trichurus spiralis Hasselbr (TS) isolated from Hippospongia communis sponge on hepatotoxicity. Twenty-eight male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into four groups (). Group I served as −ve control, group II induced receiving subcutaneously for seven days 0.25 mg heavy metal mixtures, III received (i.p.) TS dose 40 mg days, and IV protected pretreated with a protection dose, then treated metal-mixture. main pathological changes within liver after heavy-metal mixtures administrations marked hepatic damage evidenced by foci lobular necrosis neutrophilic infiltration, adjacent dysplastic hepatocytes. ALT AST measurements show significant increase in 46.20% 45.12%, respectively. Total protein, elevated about 38.9% induction compared control group, contrast albumin, decreased consequence administration elevation bilirubin level. results prove that possesses property due its proven antioxidant free-radical scavenging properties.
