摘要: Abstract In this paper, the effect of resolution on damage characterization in a Dual-Phase steel was investigated. situ and ex tensile tests were carried out two synchrotron tomographs achieving voxel size 1.6 μm 100 nm. A higher volume fraction cavity first qualitatively observed three-dimensional views confirmed by quantitative analysis: large number cavities not seen at low is detected with finer size. On other hand, void growth seems to be affected: studied case, sufficient. The underestimation voids illustrated calculation mean distance between cavities, information being key parameter coalescence.
