摘要: European Salix species fall into at least 2 groups on the nature of secondary compounds in their leaves. Some such as S. nigricans, purpurea and fragilis contain phenolglycosides Additionally, there are alba, caprea cinerea with leaves containing no phenolglycosides.Using published food plant list for weevils, sawflies caterpillars British moth, I tried to see if presence or absence willow is related degree dietary specialisation insects feeding these leaves. The results show that tend be specialised herbivores avoided by generalist. Conversely, without eaten more generalist specialised. Moreover, faunas different similar each other than having
