摘要: Nanocomposite materials are a class of new with many unusual physical and mechanical properties. Recent paper discusses their general fundamentals. The most outstanding feature nanocomposites is low dimensionality composition components. As measure the spatial matter, characteristic length was introduced. Its critical value will be threshold macro-to-low dimension state transition matter. results dimensionality, there different quantum effects leading to variation energy electronic structure Other basic features them remarkable modification by widespread interface interaction at level great variety microstructure ranging from high ordered 3-dimensional periodic stochastically dispersed medium superfine particle. All these provide much more potential for tailoring property than formation chemical compound or mixture including usual microcomposites. Elements designing preparing ion beam plasma enhanced vapour deposition discussed.
