摘要: The biaxial elastic modulus Y[111] has been measured by bulge testing in Au‐Ni and Cu‐Pd foils containing short‐wavelength one‐dimensional composition modulations produced vapor deposition. As compared with homogeneous of the same average composition, modulated exhibited an appreciable increase modulus—from 0.21 to 0.46 TPa for from 0.27 1.31 Cu‐Pd. For latter system, was found be proportional square amplitude modulation. enhancement decreased increasing wavelength wavelengths greater than 3 nm as that foils. It also observed deformation non‐Hookian; slope stress‐strain curves strain.
