摘要: Separate discussions are given of two laser-related in-situ diagnostic techniques pertinent to combustion media species characterization. The first is laser-induced fluorescence for determining the concentrations selected molecules and/or radicals. second Mie scattering laser radiation size and concentration carbonaceous particulates. In discussing fluorescence, attention will be to:applicability criteria; simple two- multi-level models interaction; distinction between linear saturated fluorescence; difficulties peculiar media; successful applications technique its limitations. discussion include:distinctions regarding range, shape composition particulates; descriptions extinction measurement schemes; nature relative importance global single particle scattering; problems particular examples
