摘要: Measurements of polarized light scattered from monodisperse nonspherical randomly oriented aerosol particles are presented along with Mie theoretical results for spheres approximately the same cross sectional area. For slightly sodium chloride and potassium sulfate size parameter (defined as ratio particle circumference to wavelength) greater than about five, intensity is generally more predicted by theory in forward scattering lobe, but less at nonforward angles. closely match measurements. Measured angular patterns smoother nearly salt size. depolarization independent angle.
