摘要: Radiology has experienced radical advancement in a very short time since its inception little more than century ago. What is really impressive that most of this taken place the advent computers medical imaging. Computers marked beginning digital era for radiology 1960s. Since then conventional film/screen x-ray imaging been overshadowed by plethora modalities entered clinical arena. In addition, rapidly increasing availability and efficiency computer technology have completely transformed all aspects beyond image acquisition. Nowadays, are cornerstone technological innovations related to display interpretation, communication results, practice workflow radiology. The term computer-assisted (CAR) adopted denote integration information provide an environment support radiologists during diagnostic interpretation images. Keywords: radiology; computers; medical analysis; computer-assisted diagnosis; PACS; teleradiology
