摘要: The next phase of the digital revolution in medicine is taking place through dissemination powerful handheld computers. Handheld computers, or personal assistants (PDAs), are no longer considered either a curiosity toy. current computer has many features (Internet access, simple e-mail client software, spreadsheet and database programs, word processing, media) that make it an ideal tool for healthcare providers. Improvements handwriting recognition, display characteristics, wireless networking capabilities provide platform real-time review both large static dynamic repositories patient data. Although earlier PDA models lacked ability to medical images appropriately, PDAs boast characteristics approach low-resolution monitors. not yet reliable option soft-copy reading, offers can improve work flow efficiency radiologist. These include improved information management, decision support via access educational materials, remote radiology-related systems.
