摘要: Foot ulceration is one of the most debilitating complications associated with diabetes, but its cause remains poorly understood. Several studies have been undertaken to understand healing kinetics or find possible therapies enhance healing. However, few directed at understanding immunological alterations that could influence wound in diabetes. In this study, we analysed T-cell receptor (TCR) repertoire diversity TCR-αβ+ T cells. We also distribution and phenotype cells obtained from peripheral blood healthy controls diabetic individuals without foot ulcers. Our results showed individuals, especially those ulcers, a significantly lower naive number poorer TCR-Vβ diversity. reduced was mainly owing accumulation effector cells, major source tumour necrosis factor-α production, which even more pronounced patients acute ulceration. Moreover, expression several inflammatory chemokine receptors patients. conclusion, TCR reduction appear precede development This finding may open new therapeutic possibilities provide prognostic tool care.
