摘要: The paper sets out to investigate a statistical problem in the geophysical field of plate tectonics which amounts obtaining small circle best fit some sense. We define fit. Using maximum entropy principle, an appropriate distribution is constructed, leading setting up confidence zone for this circle. Finally, detailed analyses set data and concerning secular variation palaeomagnetic are given.
