摘要: Heat shock (HS) reduced total lipid and phospholipid contents their synthesis in germinating seeds of pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (L.) Millspaugh]. Lipid peroxidation was also enhanced with increasing temperature HS duration. influenced metabolism to a higher extent at 45°C than 40°C. This altered associated the loss various solutes from seeds, modification growth development. Pretreatment 40°C for 1 h or 10 min followed by incubation 28°C 3 prior 2 ameliorated solute leakage due improvement content membrane function.
