摘要: BACKGROUND/AIM Circadian rhythm is an internal clock that regulates the cycles of many biological functions. Epidemiological studies have linked aberrant circadian to increased susceptibility cancer and poor patient prognosis. However, there remains a gap in our understanding genetic variants related pathway renal cell carcinoma (RCC) progression. PATIENTS AND METHODS We examined associations 150 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) 12 core genes with RCC risk survival 630 patients controls. RESULTS After adjusting for multiple comparisons performing multivariate analyses, we found HLF rs6504958 polymorphism was significantly associated (q<0.05), whereas, no SNP association significant survival. Furthermore, G allele reduced expression HLF; consequently, lower correlated more advanced RCC. Moreover, meta-analysis six kidney gene datasets demonstrated elevated favorable prognosis (hazard ratio=0.70, 95% confidence interval=0.65-0.76, p<0.001). CONCLUSION These findings implicate potential protective role progression
