摘要: The aim of the present study was to test hypothesis that oxidative stress and alteration metabolism apoptosis neutrophils in dogs vary with stage leishmaniasis determine contribution uremia such alterations. Dogs were classified into two stages: moderate (Leish II, n=20) or very severe (i.e. concurrent uremia; Leish IV, according LeishVet Consensus. groups compared uremic without (Uremic, n=10) healthy (Control, n=30). To stress, total antioxidant/oxidant capacity, lipid peroxidation, glutathione plasma antioxidants albumin, uric acid bilirubin quantified. Superoxide production determined using hydroethidine probe viability measured annexin V-PE by capillary flow cytometry. Oxidative both reduced antioxidant capacity associated increased induced superoxide apoptosis. greatest amount oxidants observed animals disease only. Neutrophils from had decreased an rate addition peroxidation. In conclusion, occurs stages differences intensity levels markers; however, does contribute spontaneous final disease.
