摘要: Anemia in patients with uremia undergoing hemodialysis (HD) is a complex process that dependent on erythropoiesis associated erythropoietin and iron availability. Published information about an extra erythrocytic factor the data concerning HD underlying mechanism by which anemia occurs remain unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate superoxide anion generation polymorphonuclear neutrophils red blood cell (RBC) lipid peroxidizability as well possible association between these parameters HD. Blood collected from 15 volunteers prior following HD, hematological showed significant at both time points. RBC neutrophil production, evaluated kinetics analysis, revealed increased initial maximal velocity before after Plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) antioxidant levels patient group were higher than those control group. dismutase catalase activities did not differ groups. There correlation production individual variation plasma MDA accompanied production. peroxidizability, mediated neutrophil-generated anions, seems be plausible for explaining, part, extraerythrocytic damage leads
