摘要: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is ranked the third most common in human worldwide. However, exact mechanisms of CRC are not well established. Furthermore, there may be differences between Asian and Western populations. In present study, we utilized a liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) metabolomic approach supported by 16S rRNA next-generation sequencing to investigate functional taxonomical paired tumor unaffected (normal) surgical biopsy tissues from 17 Malaysian patients. Metabolomic associated with steroid biosynthesis, terpenoid biosynthesis bile metabolism could attributed microbiome normal sites. The relative abundances Anaerotruncus, Intestinimonas Oscillibacter displayed significant relationships both triterpenoid pathways. Metabolites involved serotonergic synapse/ tryptophan (Serotonin 5-Hydroxy-3-indoleacetic acid [5-HIAA]) were only detected tissue samples. On other hand, S-Adenosyl-L-homocysteine (SAH), metabolite involves methionine methylation, was frequently increased tissues. conclusion, this study suggests that local dysbiosis contribute changes at Results current also contributed list metabolites found differ sites our quest for understanding carcinogenesis.
