摘要: Abstract The wave-finned flat tube heat exchangers are widely used in air-cooled condensers of a power plant. Due to the oblique arrangement wavy fins on A-frame bundles condenser, finned is prone fouling thus thermo-flow performances likely become deteriorated. A new configuration tube, which fin surface rotates be perpendicular, proposed this paper prevent from gathering tube. physical and mathematical models for fluid flows cooling air through present setup, characteristics compared. For influences pitch, height Reynolds number flow transfer investigated, correlations friction factor Nusselt recommended. results show that buoyancy effect should taken into account correlation at low numbers, but force can ignored number.
