摘要: Ten patients with nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and only mild localized left ventricular hypertrophy who had severe symptoms of cardiac failure are described. During a mean follow-up period 7 years, 6 these 10 showed substantial increase in internal dimension (6 to 15 mm, 10) as assessed M-mode echocardiography, although absolute cavity size remained within normal limits 5 the 6. Four demonstrated septal thinning (5 14 8). Left diastolic function, by radionuclide angiography nine patients, was impaired eight decreased peak filling rate ( Hence, subset identified hypertophic experienced symptoms. The majority both systolic dysfunction presence progressive (but without dilation) or both. Such may represent an important component natural history which has not been previously fully appreciated.
