摘要: Infection with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a major unsolved challenge for vaccine development. RSV worldwide in distribution and infects almost all children during the first 2 yr of life. The mouse model lung disease has been very successful reproducing many aspects human disease. In particular, role antiviral T cells both eliminating causing enhanced shown dramatically. This immunopathologic paradox now more clearly understood than any other common infection, largely due to insights gained from model. review focuses on unique ability different proteins prime specific functional subsets mouse, association between sensitization surface glycoprotein G, induction helper cells, subsequent appearance eosinophilia infection.
