摘要: Baby bottle tooth decay (BBTD) is a disease characterized by severe dental caries in the primary dentition that may have significant short-term and long-term implications for health of children. Its prevalence various etiologic factors not been addressed fully literature. In 1985, 514 Native American Head Start children Alaska Oklahoma were screened to establish BBTD those populations. The ranged between 17 85 percent, with mean 53 percent. clearly problem this population group. Concerted intervention efforts lower preventable condition should be instituted their effectiveness evaluated potential utility among other affected groups.
