摘要: PURPOSE: The aim of this double-blind, randomised cross-over study was to compare the antibacterial effect and substantivity two toothpaste formulations containing amine fluoride (AmF) or zinc chloride (ZnCl2). MATERIALS AND METHODS: After a professional tooth cleaning, 20 volunteers refrained from all oral mechanical hygiene measures for subsequent 24 hours (day 0). Subsequently, plaque sample taken three teeth analysed vitality bacteria by means vital fluorescence technique (VF0; in %). assessment baseline value subjects had brush their 2 minutes with 1.2 ml allocated (a) 0.66% AmF (b) 0.2% ZnCl2. For following 8 no were allowed. 4 after further samples biofilm (VF4, VF8). During 3 days twice daily toothpaste. On day 4, index assessed using criteria Quigley Hein (Turesky modification). washout time 9 next test cycle other started. RESULTS: Both toothpastes reduced significantly at VF4 VF8 compared VF0 (p < =0.001). While values ZnCl2-toothpaste obtained higher reductions (53%) than AmF-toothpaste (44%), results not different (0.98 1.04 respectively). CONCLUSIONS: showed significant prolonged up benefit favour ZnCl2
