摘要: Background While skin aging is triggered by multiple factors and typically presents with manifestations, conventional treatment regimens deploy a single modality. Typical approaches exploit ablative techniques, which involve considerable patient discomfort downtime can induce adverse events. Non-ablative fractionated laser (NAFL) resurfacing promotes neocollagenesis, significantly fewer complications discomfort. At the same time, intense pulsed light (IPL) therapies have marked impact on tone, an effect collagen deposition. This study evaluated combined of same-day, sequential IPL-NAFL photoaging face. Design In this prospective study, 30 patients presenting Fitzpatrick types II-IV, elastosis scores 3-6 mild to moderate pigmentation, underwent three sessions, full-face IPL therapy, followed immediately NAFL treatment, conducted at 4-6 weeks intervals. Wrinkle/elastosis qualities were scored 1, 3, 6 months after last session. Immediate responses up min following events monitored throughout period. Results gradually improved over period, 59% ≥1-point improvement in FES 1-month follow-up session, persisted also visit. Good excellent pigmentation recorded for ≥63% improvements texture, brightness, tightness ≥80% Over 90% treated exhibited or much overall appearance. Patient scorings satisfaction level reflected physician assessments. Treatments well tolerated social observed was 1.5 ± 0.25 days. Conclusion The same-day regimen proved safe elicited significant rejuvenating effect, similar manner that shown other therapies, without prolonging each individual Lasers Surg.
