摘要: Interstitial pulmonary emphysema is characterized by the presence of gas dissecting interstitial tissues lung. Clinically, it may be acute or persistent, and latter can further categorized as localized diffuse. Usually, appears in preterm neonates with a history assisted ventilation respiratory distress. Although far from frequent, variety persistent (PIPE) develop spontaneously full-term babies infants without any obvious underlying disease. Histologically, PIPE uni- multinucleated histiocytes lining inner surface cysts. In this report, we describe 15-year-old male synovial sarcoma (SS) right ankle diagnosed 4 years previously who developed metastasis, one which presented cystic changes features PIPE.
