摘要: Recent genomewide association studies have identified several prostate cancer susceptibility variants. However, the between these variants and biochemical failure in patients receiving radical prostatectomy has not been determined. We systematically evaluated 20 cancer–associated single-nucleotide polymorphisms a cohort of 320 localized prostatectomy. Each polymorphism found to be associated with recurrence prostate-specific antigen was further analyzed by Kaplan-Meier analysis Cox regression model. Three (rs1447295 at 8q24, rs7920517 rs10993994 10q11) were ( P < 0.02). Of these, rs10993994, which strong linkage disequilibrium r 2 = 0.91), also showed significant associations poor antigen–free survival following (log-rank test; 0.01). The remained our multivariate proportional hazards after adjusting for other clinicopathologic risk covariates In conclusion, loci cancer, such as might used predict (Cancer Epidemiol Biomarkers Prev 2009;18(11):3068–74)
