摘要: Urban civilization began in the Middle East and today this area is one of most urbanized regions Third World. Yet, scholarly research Eastern urban affairs has lagged behind both growth studies for other areas world interest aspects society. The city a viable focus such fields as geography, sociology, anthropology history have been increasing importance their respective disciplines. This only beginning studies, although substantial recent progress made review will show.
