摘要: Abstract Aim This study was aimed to describe the gastric cancer mortality trend, and analyze spatial distribution of in Ecuador, between 2004 2015. Methods Data were collected from National Institute Statistics Census (INEC) database. Crude rates, standardized ratios (SMRs) indirect rates (ISMRs) calculated per 100,000 persons. For time trend analysis, joinpoint regression used. The annual percentage rate change (APC) average percent (AAPC) computed for each province. Spatial age-adjusted analysis used detect high risk clusters mortality, 2010 2015, using Kulldorff scan statistics. Results In caused a total 19,115 deaths: 10,679 men 8436 women. When crude analyzed, significant decline detected (AAPC: −1.8%; p  Conclusion There is substantial geographic variation among Ecuadorian provinces. indicates presence occurrence throughout Andes Mountains.
