摘要: This paper describes outcomes from research titled Leadership in Compassionate Care. The adopts a participatory action approach, utilizing appreciative inquiry and relationship centred care. Outcomes of the are based upon relationships between patients, families staff. focuses on in-patient care for older people. A range data generation activities were undertaken including: observation, interviews using emotional touch points reflective accounts. To highlight compassionate care, this uses case studies two participating services. Principles derived understanding experiences relatives staff initiating responsive projects. aim was to enhance experience centred, process enabled richer experience. In terms patients involved, enhanced quality time spent with family opening up conversations involved access relevant information opportunity make sense their situation. Staff gaining working alongside co-create service, led direct changes individual team practices.
