Adjuvant therapy in stage-I epithelial ovarian cancer: an open question.

摘要: From January 1980 to December 1991, 137 patients suffering from Stage I EOC, were treated in our Institute. All underwent primary surgery with intensive staging procedures 82% of cases; 12 USO. Sixty-one out did not receive complementary treatment, 66 chemotherapy and 10 i.p. P32. Three risk categories identified, according stage grade: R1 = IA-B G1 (45 cases); R2 G2-3 (31 stage); R3 IC all grades (53 cases). Forty 45 cases adjuvant therapy; 12/31 surgical treatment only, 16/31 received 3/31 P32; 39/53 6 Twenty-six (18.9%) suffered a neoplastic relapse. Overall actuarial 5- 10-year survival was: 96.3% 89.9%; 79.6% 79.6%; 79.2% 62.3% respectively. There was no difference between untreated patients, while emerged P32 groups. Five-year for the 26 recurrence 40.5%.
