摘要: Background Little is known about the association of eating disorder subtypes across multiple categories substance use in population-based samples. We examined between disorders and a large sample. Method Female participants (n=13 297) were from Swedish Twin Registry [Lichtenstein et al., Research Human Genetics (2006) 9, 875-882]. Substance was four defined groups - (1) anorexia nervosa (AN); (2) bulimia (BN); (3) AN BN (ANBN); (4) binge (BED) as well referent group without (no ED). Secondary analyses differences restricting (RAN) and/or purge (ANBP). Results In general, associated with greater relative to referent. The had significantly increased odds for all illicit drugs. Significant emerged RAN ANBP alcohol abuse/dependence, diet pills, stimulants, polysubstance group. Across groups, ANBN more likely report abuse/dependence group, pill AN, BED no ED, groups. Conclusions Eating are range behaviors. Improved understanding how they mutually influence risk could enhance etiology prevention.
