摘要: Decisions concerning the siting of infrastructure developments or use natural resources have potential to damage a community's social well-being if outcomes are perceived be unfair. Justice is accepted as central well functioning society with fairness being an expectation in day-to-day interactions. Outcomes that unfair can result protests, damaged relationships and divided communities particularly when decisions made which benefit some sections community at expense others. Through empirical research using wind farm pilot study, perceptions consultation process explored procedural justice principles evaluate fairness. Findings from study indicate do influence how people perceive legitimacy outcome, fairer will increase acceptance outcome.
