A facile one-pot synthesis of 2-o-cyanoaryl oxazole derivatives mediated by CuCN

摘要: Abstract A convenient, inexpensive and effective approach to the synthesis of 2-o-cyanoaryl oxazole derivatives has been developed. Generally, copper-mediated cyclization/coupling reactions afforded corresponding 2-cyanoaryl oxazoles oxazolines in moderate excellent yields. The functionalized may be useful biological chemistry medicinal science. Our investigation indicates that formation ring might favor C bond forming process on ortho-position aryl ring. And CuCN plays dual roles as a Lewis acid catalyst C-nucleophile this transformation.
