摘要: Recent studies suggest that substituting sitting with light physical activity has beneficial metabolic effects, but it is unclear if this associated parallel changes in endothelial function. Data from three randomized cross-over were analyzed, which 61 subjects (with normal weight, overweight and type 2 diabetes) followed different regimens (Sit, SitLess and/or Exercise) of four days each. Subjects instructed to sit 14 h/day (‘Sit’), substitute 1 h/day moderate-to-vigorous cycling (‘Exercise’) or 5–6 h/day light-intensity walking standing (‘SitLess’). Physical was assessed 24 h/day by accelerometry (ActivPAL) diet standardized. Fasted circulating biomarkers dysfunction, lipids insulin sensitivity the morning after each regimen. The dysfunction score (ED-score) computed averaging Z-scores dysfunction. Compared Sit, Exercise resulted lower ED-score, sICAM1 sE-selectin (p < 0.05), while no significant observed SitLess. sVCAM1 compared (p < 0.05). In contrast, (HOMA2-IR) plasma (HDL-cholesterol, non-HDL-cholesterol, total cholesterol Apo B) did not change significantly improved conclusion, had a differential effect on risk markers cardio-metabolic health need both performing structured exercise as well reducing time daily basis.
