摘要: This study investigated numerous complexities in medical decision making among obstetricians treating high-risk or complex pregnancies. Obstetricians a southeastern state (N = 28) were interviewed using guide based on the framework of message convergence. The assessed how physicians manage uncertainty surrounding patient care and engage midst either unclear evidence competing messages. As result, found that convergence plays notable role obstetricians’ clinical making. Conclusions practical recommendations are provided, theoretical extensions to communicative practices also advanced.
