Dynamics and significance of coagulase-negative staphylococcal intramammary infections.

摘要: Cows (n = 139) were sampled within 17 d postpartum and monthly thereafter to examine dynamics of mammary infections relationships between infection status, milk yield, SCC, NAGase activity, chloride concentration. Forty-eight 67% cows 19.5 30.5% quarters infected at first test lactation end, respectively, with 51% all present test. Coagulase-negative staphylococci accounted for 67 65% total 85% persisting end. Animals coagulase-negative had significantly elevated quarter SCC activity a decrease 821 kg mature equivalent production compared uninfected animals. Clinical cases no bacterial isolation or major pathogen associated significant elevations in bucket concentration quarters, 1153 as Correlations ln -.15, -.25, .55 (-.23, -.28, .41 only).
