摘要: Abstract Cows were milked with a quarter milker, and somatic cells estimated on 874 quarters by the filter-DNA method. Mean were: 314,000 per milliliter for no infection; 900,000 Streptococcus agalactiae ; 1,625,000 uberis 1,498,000 Staphylococcus aureus 1,432,000 coagulase-negative, mannitol-positive staphylococci; 356,000 micrococci infections. in which clinical mastitis had been reported previously 1,120,000 regardless of presence bacteria at time sampling. not observed was 414,000 bacteria. A quadratic regression analysis revealed loss milk yield when cell counts elevated.
