摘要: Litter found on beaches bordering the estuary of Bristol Channel, United Kingdom, is disparate from litter representing UK/Irish Sea beaches. The principal source this postulated as riverine in origin derived sewage debris originating combined sewer overflows and sewage/general obtained fly tipping sites. marine sources beach user was small quantities. Very large numbers plastic bottles (beverages/dairy based products), sanitary items cans can be northern shore strandlines i.e. 550, 75, 210 per km at Merthyr Mawr beach, Mid-Glamorgan, compared to a Mid Glamorgan County average 128, 11 115 respectively km. Respective figures southern for same were 3, 12 13 Results Dunster, North Devon (2, 10 18 respectively) accord with these bulk UK origin, 93% against 63% southern.
