摘要: Riverine litter occupies a spatial and temporal position in any systematic analysis of river systems is problem that increasing scale. Quantifiable source factors the Taff, South Wales, UK, system were found to be mainly two – sewage inputs through combined sewer overflows (CSO) fly tipping. The greatest derived solids introduced by malfunctioning CSO, most numerous single component being sanitary towels. Whilst sewage-derived material constituted approximately 23% all items on large quantities waste, especially plastic sheeting, originated from tipping sites.
