摘要: SUMMARY Varying concentrations of lignocaine between 1 and 5 per cent with without adrenaline 1/200,000 were used for epidural analgesia in 255 patients. Measurements made latency onset, degree segmental spread, intensity motor blockade duration. The spread depended on the mass solute injected not volume, at any given age relationship dose area was constant all 2 cent. Lignocaine concentration blocked more spinal segments than stronger concentrations, but produced a weaker shorter Adrenaline did appear to affect appreciably, it doubled duration trebled tested. Latency onset irregularly affected by addition adrenaline. Analgesia developed fastest plain lignocaine, 3 adrenaline, while gave slowest onsets.
