摘要: Apparatus and method for providing an automatic handoff process of a dual-mode user equipment (UE) from either wireless local area network (WLAN) to universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) or UMTS WLAN. Handoffs may be initiated by the UE, based upon preference, signal quality, comparison location coordinates UE switched quality. The available channels one sent other monitor lock on one. also UMTS, selection being power-based.
