摘要: While epistemologies have long been of interest in other fields, they only recently begun to receive attention within engineering education. In particular, engineers' personal (PEs) are a significant but understudied facet and PEs individuals' beliefs attitudes that consciously subconsciously affect the ways think about knowledge, learning, validity justification arguments. encompass various dimensions knowledge: where it comes from, how is created, organized, universal is, etc. Likewise, despite their role structuring thought action, metaphors received scant The work does explore education focuses on issues underrepresentation. Metaphors not mere linguistic devices, rather play central roles cognition categorical perception. Therefore, this paper draws epistemological metaphorical from fields order analyze employed by students discussions epistemologies.
